Margaret's Story
Margaret's life was not supposed to look like this — not the fear of an empty table, not the silence of four children wondering how they would eat. Abandoned and without a steady income, she carried a weight that felt impossible to lift alone.
Then she found WFA.
With a small loan and the encouragement of a community that believed in her, Margaret opened a beauty shop. From there, she didn't stop. She expanded into selling beauty products and second-hand clothing, steadily building something sustainable. Today, Margaret pays her own rent, feeds her children, and sends them to school. But perhaps the most beautiful part of her story? She now turns around and trains other women to do the same.
Her next dream is to grow her business even further and create more opportunities for the women around her.
